Adv. Or Ben Avi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Haifa. He began his career at one of Israel’s largest and leading law firms (Top Tier), where he gained substantial experience in litigation and in commercial work for local and international corporations. He went on to serve as head of the legal department and as legal counsel at leading credit and finance companies. In these roles he managed large-scale property due diligence, approved and monitored complex collateral registration, and handled legal risk management and regulatory updates.

In his work, Adv. Ben Avi takes a solution-focused approach, combining legal rigour with the broad business and financial understanding he has built over more than eight years of professional experience.

Adv. Ben Avi provides ongoing counsel to non-bank lenders and institutional bodies, with an inside knowledge of their needs — knowledge built in management roles at the head of the legal departments of non-bank lenders. The work includes, among other things, property due diligence, drafting loan agreements and legal documents, alignment with regulatory requirements and credit policy, borrower signings, and registration or review of the required collateral.

Alongside this, Adv. Ben Avi handles real-estate transactions from start to finish — from thorough preliminary due diligence on the property, through drafting the agreements, negotiating to secure the client’s rights and interests, and tax planning, to registration of rights and collateral. The office also drafts a range of lease agreements, handles property management and acts in eviction proceedings.

In commercial and business matters, Adv. Ben Avi advises companies, partnerships and businesses from incorporation and building a sound legal foundation, through ongoing legal support — including the management of complex legal risks and advice on strategic decisions — to the handling of business disputes.
